Welcome to the Weekly Challenges. If you follow this ideas, and put them together, it may just help you loose weight!! Have fun with this!! Weekly Challenges only last Monday though Saturday, so hang in there just for the six days and see how it goes for you.
Weekly challenges last from Monday Morning to Saturday night....hopefully you will continue them in our daily lives!!
11/18/07 This weeks weekly challenge is an easy one. Dance.
That's right. Dance. Dance to the music on your radio, or stereo or simply to a nonnumericals on TV...just dance a little bit everyday.
11/4/07 Squat. Yep, squat down when you pick things up. Do a couple now and again. Squat. You will not only be getting extra exersize, but you will be building leg muscles for mounting horses. So this week squat at least ten times throughout each day.
10/14/01 DON'T DO IT. Don't reach for the chips, don't take seconds, don't skip your walk, don't think you are or don't be fat.
10/7/07 EAT FRUITS AND OR VEGETABLES EVERYDAY. If you already do this (and good for you if you do) eat more of them and less junk. The best way to eat them is raw. *NOTE*: Potato Chips are NOT a vegetable.
If you are getting cramps, try eating a banana every other or every day. Mushers eat many bananas for leg cramps.....running behind and pumping and pushing the sleds in races. It really does work!! Bananas are good for you too!!
10/1/07 LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND SEE YOURSELF THINNER AND SMILE MORE. No, I am not kidding. Every time you look in a mirror, see something good, someone thinner. I know, weird request....trust me. When you start seeing yourself thinner, you will work harder to **BE** thinner. Now, the smiling. We must choose to be happy. If we are happy we eat less. LOL So yes, smiling can be a weight loss strategy.
9/15/07 DRINK WATER. Drink water rather then soda (even diet soda), juice or other calorie filled drinks. Water is not only good for you it will flush your system. A person should drink quite a bit of water every day. At least drink one glass full per day.
9/10/07 CHEW GUM. RATHER THEN EATING ANOTHER SNACK OR CANDY OR CAKE, CHEW A PIECE OF GUM. The gum will last longer and be waaaaay fewer calories. Buy a couple of packs of different flavors and keep them with you.

Park further away, walk the long way to places, go for a walk. Just walk more.

DRINK MORE WATER.
And if you still drink soda pop, don't. Just for this Monday - Friday.....

Here it is Monday Again! Summer is another week closer. Are YOU getting ready?
This Week, Monday - Friday.....
DO 10 ARM ROLLS. Straighten your Arms out to your sides, make little circular motions with your hands and arms. Palm Up. Then. If you want to get more fit, do the same, Palms Down. Even if you just do 10 for 5 days straight...... YOU have started something....
IF you already to these everyday.....do 10 more, just 10 (or more) at a different time than when you regularly do them.

PLUS! Walk A Little Faster Than You Normally Do!

Eat Fruit or More Fruit if you already eat fruit regularly.....
BUT! Add that, YOU eat THREE Apples this week. 3 Apples.

anything....walking is one of the best Work Outs a person can do. But walk faster and further than you normally do.

THINK BEFORE YOU EAT......
THINK BEFORE PUTTING ANY TYPE/KIND/ANYTHING IN YOUR MOUTH

Ready to Lose Weight?
This Week Sweat. That's Right. Sweat.
Take A Walk, Ride A Bicycle, Jog, Run...... SWEAT!
And WHEN YOU Sweat. Smile. Think of it as fat melting and leaving your body!
And for those that "need to hear it" Of course not til you are sick. No. Not so that your get heat problems. If you have it, use common sense!
How about a FIVE DAY Challenge. How about we ALL/EACH try to do this ALL week til Friday Night.....or for a life time.....
READ THE LABEL.
Know the amount of calories you are putting in your mouth.
Better. Learn how many calories it takes to.... ride a horse for one hour. As well as other sports/activities you enjoy.
EAT MORE FRUIT.
