Work on building the streanth in your legs for mounting. Slow cumbersome stirrup mounting is hard on your horse. Step up unto two stairs at a time. Other options... step up onto the back of the mounting block with your left leg. Use your left leg rather then your right leg as a lead leg to strengthen it.
